Senior Scala Backend Developer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Development of a digital B2B product - the purpose of the product is to enable our customers to make faster and better decisions by making energy intelligent and simple through digital products

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in developing Java/Scala/Kotlin and feeling comfortable with functional reactive programming (FRP)
- Know-how in the type level stack and libraries such as doobie jdbc, cats and monix
- Experienced with SQL databases and efficient query design
- Know-how of the protocols such as HTTP, REST, gRPC, MQTT and OAuth 2.0 and know how to implement modern APIs with it
- Open to work with Kotlin as programming language to support development in other microservices not written in Scala
- Know-how regarding Spring Framework and projects like Spring Boot, Spring Integration and Spring Cloud is beneficial
- Processing know-how in data at scale (e.g. using InfluxDB, Cassandra, Kafka, Hadoop and/or MongoDB) nice to have
- Experience with machine learning, real time analytics and optimization, operate and distribute Docker containers in a Kubernetes cluster would be a plus
