Role: Senior Public Health Manager/Epidemiology

Rate: £350+ per day

Duration: 10 Months

Location: East Midlands

Local Government organisation has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Public Health Manager/Epidemiology based in East Midlands. As Senior Public Health Manager you will support the leadership of public health and the development of short to medium term planning and strategy for public health.

Key areas of experience for this role include:

*Developing and influencing the direction of public health to reflect local, regional and national priorities, with particular emphasis on the Public Health Outcomes Framework and the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
*To lead on key epidemiological projects to enable a full understanding of health
needs in the area, addressing health inequalities, determining priorities for action, assisting wider understanding of the characteristics of the local population and actively disseminating the findings of a wide range of analysis.
*To lead the development of the public health performance framework for two local authorities needs in the area, addressing health inequalities, determining priorities for action, assisting wider understanding of the characteristics of the local population and actively disseminating the findings of a wide range of analysis.
*To lead the development of the public health performance framework for two local authorities.
