For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:
Senior Project Portfolio Manager - 50%
Main tasks:
- Lead day-to-day activities in managing the PTA/B/C IT informatics portfolios
- Coordinate schedules, communications and actions with the PTA/B/C portfolio managers or portfolio management councils
- Acts as day-to-day liaison with Financial Controlling for PTA/B/C IT portfolios
- Contribute to continuous improvement of applied portfolio management processes and practices, ensuring they are fit for purpose'
- Track portfolio and project progress and run monthly portfolio oversight activities and communications with the FPPM activity owners and FPPM LT
- Provide ongoing support to FPPM stakeholders with respect to PT portfolio management processes and practices
- Provide guidance for project initiation/approval, which includes:
- Assist PMs to create Baseline/Entry into Portfolio presentations
- Assess project review/approval routing requirements
- Communicate to relevant portfolio management stakeholders in business and IT
- Project Tracking
- Flag projects that are out of reporting compliance
- Track the progress of when projects are to be kicked off and if they are on schedule to do so
- Assist in tracking the health of projects that have been kicked off
- Track resource and budget consumption and forecast
Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience as a Portfolio Manager and/or minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager for Global Projects
- Fluency in English verbally and written
- Good communication and presentation skills
