Senior Project Manger; Engineering, Substations, SAP, IPMA/PMI, French

For our client in the industry sector located in the greater Zurich area we are looking for a SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in order to support Projects across Switzerland and Central Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the end to end project management for turnkey substation projects, ensuring project is delivered on time, on budget and to scope
- Responsible for the relationship management of Supplier and Client
- Provide technical knowledge in substations and general engineering topics
- Manage and Control the financial budgeting and reporting process
- Ensure project communication (detail planning and organisation, communication plan and responsibilities etc.
- Control Health & Safety planning, monitoring, and reporting on the project
- Ensure strong project adherence to contractual milestones by continuously monitoring the progress of all contributing parties (including suppliers) and taking appropriate corrective actions or escalation as required.
- Ensure adherence to project governance and processes are met
- Manage multidiscipline project team by continuously securing information flow to all team members and stakeholders

IDEAL PROFILE

- Experience Project Manager with a track record in delivering projects within the engineering field, ideally substations
- Ideally PMI or IPMA or similar accredited
- Ability to perform some engineering duties and manage engineering field service teams
- Experience with following tools: SAP, MS Project, Primavera, PIRS
- Strong in stakeholder communication and strong in managing large projects with various dependencies
- Languages: French native/fluent, fluent English, good German
