Senior Project Manager - Solvency II

My client is currently looking for a consultant to take a leading role within the SOLVENCY II IMPLEMENTATION TEAM, with a focus on delivering high quality projects.

My client provides advisory services to major Insurance companies throughout Europe.

This position will be based in Paris, with travel throughout Europe. FLUENT ENGLISH IS MANDATORY, and a good level of French is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- DELIVERY OF SOLVENCY II SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS
- Understanding client business requirements
- Leading workshops with the functional teams
- Modelling Assets & Liabilities within our insurance solution
- Mapping client source DATA TO THE SOLUTION DATA MODEL
- CONFIGURATION OF CALCULATION AND REPORTING ENGINES - ability to interact with clients well and properly explain the results
- Engaging with clients - on and off site
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Liaising internally with other internal stakeholders
- Contribute to developments of the Solvency II implementation software services that are on offer

Required Skills:

- FLUENCY IN ENGLISH
- EXCELLENT CLIENT RELATIONSHIP SKILLS, a strong and confident communicator
- MASTER DEGREE OR HIGHER in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering)
- Capacity to MANAGE AND INFLUENCE MULTIPLE STAKEHOLDERS EFFECTIVELY
- Experience in the delivery of software solutions within FS
- Good SOLVENCY II KNOWLEDGE
- Good understanding of databases (Oracle) and SQL
