Senior Project Manager

My client is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing projects using a range of technologies including .NET, Java, Oracle, Middleware, Data warehouse and many more. The ideal person will be able to manage highly complex projects in order to deliver compliancy,infrastructure and commercial capabilities and assets. In addition to project management experience they are looking for someone with previous experience as a developer (.NET/Java/Oracle).
It will be highly beneficial to have technical expertise in order to drive the technical direction of the projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
-MINIMUM of 3 years experience in strategic 'global' project management
- Experience in large and complex project management
- Experience in Financial or Telecommunications industry
- Experience working with diverse teams or working internationally
- Experience managing projects with technologies including .NET, Java and Oracle
- Experience in the implementation of continuous improvement methodology such as Six Sigma and Lean
- HANDS ON DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE (.NET/JAVA/ORACLE)
- Experience managing technical aspects of projects in the following areas: Front Office, Back Office, Infrastructure, Middleware, data ware house, mobile interfaces (significant in at least 3)
- FLUENT ENGLISH AND FRENCH - Dutch is a Bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring and driving projects through clear process development and team management, working to goals and execution
- Working across functional and business unit lines and developing and maintaining a culture of partnership between all parts of the organization
- Ensuring development of detailed execution plans and oversee the implementation
- Monitoring progress post-execution and identify any further adjustments or activities
- Implementing and optimizing our internal project delivery methodology (Prince2 based)
- Implementing metrics and reporting for the projects
PROJECT DETAILS:
- Location: Brussels
- 6 months Extendable Contract
- Start date is flexible
- Full time on-site
- Day rate: Standard Market Rate Applies
