SR PROJECT MANAGER SANTA CLARA, CA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating across cross-functional resources so that a project is completed within a defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. This position is tactical in nature. The role is a PM + BA role and hence the candidate must possess both skillsets.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:

- Manage the SaaS solution implementations for the customer.
- Understand customer business requirements and technical requirements and recommend the best solution that meets customer requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in review; revisions; changes; enhancements; testing; and documentation.
- Build and maintain close relationship with the customer and understand the changing needs and environment of the customer.
- Multitask across many projects and customers, in the neighborhood of 12-15 customers with multiple projects each.
- Evaluate business requests to determine feasibility; work with Software Engineers to define alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.
- Work closely with developers and requesters identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Communicate to customers on new products, features and offerings.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide the Enterprise sales team with pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance.
- Perform administrative activities such as coordinating logistical issues, billing and status reporting and creating Statement of Work (SOW)
- Ensure work effort generates desired deliverables on time, within budget and at required performance levels.
- Focus on the deliverables, milestones, and tasks for multiple projects.
- Manage people and other resources indirectly as part of a cross functional team that is required to complete a project.
- Facilitate team meetings effectively.
- Keep project team members informed of changes.
- Identify resources needed and assign to individuals.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Demonstrate experience in collecting user requirement, analysing current business processes, and devising solutions for business process problems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
- 4 to 6 years of experience in enterprise software implementation
- Minimum of 4 years experience managing project for external customers
- Proven track record of achieving high level of customer satisfaction for enterprise products implementation
- Problem solving across multiple projects and ability to prioritize all work affectively and manage their time and their team members time
- Experience in enterprise product implementation in the financial industry preferred
- Must actively pursue Project Management Certification (PMP) or global equivalent (ie PRINCE2)
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred
- Experience managing client onboarding and setup for SaaS products preferred
- Very good understanding and working knowledge in latest Internet technologies as well as SaaS products
- Working knowledge of how Credit/Debit card transactions work
- Ability to multitask aggressively
- Experience managing external facing/client projects
- Skills as a seasoned, experienced project management professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures
- Ability to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
- Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
