Senior Procurement Analyst

We are seeking a Sr. PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT for a 6 month contract position in Atlanta, GA.

Candidates of interest have strategic sourcing experience and procurement, logistics or supply chain experience in the transportation industry. Candidates must have at least 5 years in transportation, but at least 10 years in procurement/logistics/supply chain. Global experience is preferred.

Skills :

5+ years of demonstrated knowledge and category expertise
10+ years of STRATEGIC SOURCING EXPERIENCE
A BACHELOR\'S DEGREE in business, engineering or related discipline.
Hands-on training/coaching experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction
Demonstrated ability to lead and work on a team environment

Must have Transportation Industry Experience
Valid passport
Ability to travel 50-75% of the time (International travel required)

Responsibilities :

Jointly create and deliver a domain (ie category) training program
Jointly create and deliver a sourcing process training program, that aligns with the sourcing methodology
Provide experiential training and coaching to regional buyers during the length of the sourcing process (est. at 4 to 6 months)
Assist category managers in delivering savings and benefits
Ask as a subject matter expert to local resources
- Length of the engagement is 3 to 6 months, depending on the categories
- Travel requirements (50%-75%) to Latin America, Middle East/Africa and/or Asia/Pacific.
- Start time is mid-August, with some flexibility
