Senior Process Engineer

Yoh has a six (6) month contract opportunity for a SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER to join our client in Lexington, Massachusetts.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Provide operational support for cleaning (CIP, COP, glass washers, and detergent distribution), sterilization (SIP, autoclaves), bench-top analytics (Cedex, Nova, filter integrity testers) and single-use systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute punch-list and project work associated with cleaning, sterilization, bench-top analytics and single-use systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis and provide optimization strategies for process support equipment within a multi-product, FDA regulated cGMP facility.
- Work may include design/specification, commissioning and qualification of new systems and system modifications.
- FTE departure (needs a stop gap until another FTE can be hired). This candidate could potentially be a fit for the FTE position.
- Floor operations support.
- Handling CIP/SIP issues.
- Benchtop analytics, Punchlist items (manufacturing to indentify issues, this person to assist with resolutions)
- Commissioning and validation activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be able to work well cross functionally with QA, Manufacturing and Validation.
- Chemical or mechanical engineers five to eight (5-8) years of experience required (eight to ten (8-10) years are preferred).
- Biopharmaceutical experience is required.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:

- This person would work within the Engineering Technical Services Group and coordinate various engineering activities with outside groups (eg Manufacturing, Facilities, Validation, Quality).
- Must have a strong engineering background.
