Je functie: Context
The process team, in close collaboration with and support from the end-to-end process owner, is responsible to manage and improve end-to-end processes with
regards to its domain.
The domain 'cash handling' encorporates all activities related to the transport and distribution of notes, coins, foreign currencies and precious metals through the
bank's different channels.
The domain 'cards' encompasses all activities related to debit, credit and prepaid cards performed within BNP Paribas Fortis, both related to issuing and to acquiring.
In order to further improve the processes, their predictability and efficiency, within the domain of cash and cards, we started a first analysis to identify some backoffice
process improvement opportunities. These ideas need to be further analysed, a project plan needs to be built and improvements need to be realised in
collaboration with the back office.
The domains are continuously evolving, with different large and smaller projects being implemented or planned. Specific attention is therefore needed with regards
to change management, support, alignment and coordination towards the teams that will be impacted.

Function Description
Responsibilities and deliverables:
A description of the AS IS end-to-end processes that were already identified as being promising for further improvements needs to be performed. Root cause
analysis should be applied to whatever seems to cause inefficient performance of these processes. On the basis of this analysis, a recommendation should be made
on how this process can be improved. Together with back office staff, possible improvement solutions need to be described, both process ideas as technical
ideas. The impacts on different departments should be assessed and an action plan for the implementation provided and validated. Improvement ideas need to be
implemented and their impact should be measured through well -defined KPIs.
Next to these process optimizations, we would like to review 2 specific activities related to the cards environment: card renewals and card activities within our front
offices. Within this part of the mission, focus should be on the customer experience and sales strategy on one hand and work efficiency on the other hand. We expect a
proposal for improvement that has been validated with Value Proposition and Sales, and where our front office staff and back-office staff have been implied.
Once accepted, the improvements should be tested at small scale and a recommendation for roll-in should be elaborated.
