Senior Medical Advisor

* · Proactively support the project teams, providing medical input and strategic advice to ensure the feasibility and success of a specific new painkilling product.
* · Proactively liaise with external key opinion leaders to enhance the Company's knowledge base. Input relevant information to the project teams to influence strategic project direction.
* · Advise upon the best medical approach to build upon positive data and address and provide solutions for blockers.
* · Work closely with the Clinical Team to develop effective clinical programmes and protocols to provide advantaged products which meet Regulatory and Marketing objectives.

Required experience:

*Pharmacist or Life Science graduate
*Computer literate
*Effective medical and scientific article writing skills
*Ability to critique medical and scientific information
*Expert high level skills in working with literature ( e.g.Medline) and information retrieval databases
*Previous experience in a medical affairs, medical information or product support role. Ideally 10 plus years experience in these areas.
*Previous experience of work in New Product Development with examples of successful product launches.

This role is office based however some home working will be considered.
