Senior Mechanical Engineer

Yoh has a six (6) month contract opportunity for SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join our client in Miami, Florida.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses both inductive and deductive reasoning processes to systematically solve problems.
- Identifies and focuses on critical deliverables and high-priority assignments; overcomes potential stumbling blocks to achieve objectives.

JOB QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum of B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and six (6) years of relevant experience, or also possesses an advanced degree in a related engineering field plus a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
- Has at least two (2) years of working experience in design/analysis of mechanisms/robotics and/or pneumatic control systems and/or fluidic components and circuits.
- Understands basic statistics and the concept of continuous process improvement by employing statistical methods.
- Has a good working understanding of the development process, including the concept of design controls.
- Understands complex technical and non-technical documentation (in English).
- Is proficient in the use of either ProEngineer/Wildfire and/or Dassault Solid Works CAD tools, including part model creation, assembly, and detailing.
- Proficiency with finite element analysis tools compatible with the above CAD systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of/experience with, Design for Reliability concepts highly desirable.
- Works well in teams and uses effective communication techniques.
- Experience working with (regulated) medical devices or diagnostic products is highly desirable.
