Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Pro Engineer/Solidworks

Senior Mechanical Engineer required -Small Part Design - Medical/Pharmaceutical - Midlands - 6 months +

My client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and guide the design team on an exciting new project.

This role will involve overseeing the entire design process from product conception to completion.

The contract is initially 3 months in long, however extensions are highly probable for up to 12 months+ if both parties wish.

Suitable candidates will have experience in complex handheld assembly and have worked on projects involving small part design, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

Candidates within relevant transferable skills are also favourable, such as experience with mobile phone design.

My client is open to applications from talented engineers from abroad.

Key Skills:

- Extensive experience with small part design/handheld assembly
- Either ProE or Solidworks expertise
- The ability to motivate and lead a team of mechanical engineers

Bonus skills:

- Any work on pharmaceutical or surgical projects
- Any work with mobile phone design
- Any patented design experience
