Senior Management Accountant

We require an experienced and suitably qualified Senior Management Accountant who has been employed by a housing association in the last 12 months and who can show a track record of working in the social housing sector, to join an established RSL who serve customers living in the Lancashire / Greater Manchester area.

Our client requires a motivated finance professional to join them initially on a 6 month contract basis and can offer an immediate start and a very competitive salary and terms for the right candidate.

As a key member of the association's finance department you will have responsibility for:

- Preparation of the management accounts and completion of annual statutory accounts that are compliant with current accounting practice and standards
- Line managing a staff team of 5
- The assessment of new financial legislation including FRS102

It is essential that you have previously social hosing experience and have worked at a managerial / supervisory level in previous roles.
