Senior Linux System Administrator - Global Pharmaceutical Business - North West

A global pharmaceutical business based in the North West of England, is looking to recruit a Senior Linux Systems Administrator on a permanent basis.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Systems Administrator with good PHP skills to work in a highly varied and technically challenge role. The role will support in the region of 600 websites which cover multiple brands and countries across the business. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Hosting Environment. You will also be responsible for liaising with digital agencies - so excellent communication skills are essential.

This role will offer progression into a Leadership / Management position within the business, and therefore will have the responsibilities of 60% hands on systems work and 40% strategic development. Within your team you will have a Linux Administrator and PHP Developer to support you.

Candidates wishing to apply must have experience working as a Linux Systems Administrator with strong PHP skills. You will have experience within a Hosting Environment and with an ISP - Internet Service Provider. Excellent communication skills are essential to liaise with digital agencies who host code for the business.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
