Senior IT Business Analyst - Market/Credit Risk (4021/4022)

For a six month project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

SENIOR IT BUSINESS ANALYST - MARKET/CREDIT RISK (4021/4022)

You'll be working in the Risk Strategic Change team in Zurich. Your role is to find strategic solutions for Market and Credit Risk infrastructure.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A BUSINESS ANALYST WITHIN BANKING
- PROFOUND RISK KNOWLEDGE (ABOUT FINANCIAL MARKETS, RISK CONTROL AND REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT)
- STRONG ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM-SOLVING AND SYNTHESIZING SKILLS
- Experience applying business analysis techniques
- The ability to interpret a set of technical requirements
- Knowledge of how to develop robust solutions
- An understanding of the software development life cycle
- Passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications
- Technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
- Adaptable, able to work across teams and functions
- Fluent in English (oral/written)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
- Conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating services, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
- Support the business engineer by describing the business processes, including the organizational structures involved
- Assist in quality control and project management
- Identify people and systems impacted by functional and non-functional requirements
