ABOUT THE ROLE
This company is seeking to engage an experienced SENIOR DATA NETWORK ENGINEER to work onsite with one of their high profile clients who specialise in the financial and banking industry. You will be overseeing a large relocation project and will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Data Network infrastructure. This will be an initial 6 month contract with the view to extend.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, Implementation and Testing of LAN, WAN and Data Centre Network Infrastructure
- Network Troubleshooting
- Initiate, Implement and Support Problem/Change Requests
- Actively participate in planning and allocating tasks.
- Interface with Stakeholders and with escalation teams

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Experience of 7-10 years, a minimum of 3 years in Design and Implementation
- Strong Cisco networking background.
- Design and implementation experience around following devices:
- Switches - Cisco Cat6K, 4900, 3750s
- Routers - Cisco ISRs, ASRs
- Firewalls - Cisco ASA and PIX, Nokia Checkpoint
- WAN Accelerators - Riverbed Steelhead 1050 to 5050
- Aruba Wireless devices
