Senior BA - Treasury, Fixed Income, Credit - Sydney & Melbourne

THE COMPANY

Our client is one of Australia's leading and largest Financial Services Organization that has expanded its operations beyond the Australian shores. The organization has a large range of financial offerings to both public and private clients across the retail, corporate and institutional banking areas. They have a very large technical footprint that combine a dynamic range of technologies in an ultimately, highly complex landscape.

THE TEAM

This role sits within a newly formed team responsible for the implementation of cutting-edge trading technologies within the treasury/Fixed Income/credit/debt markets space. Comprised of developers, business analysts, SMEs, and testers, they're in charge of delivering a multi-million dollar project which will overhaul this bank's systems as well as implement its new and improved electronic trading platform.

THE ROLE

This is a markets faced focussed role with regular interaction with the business and internal teams to analyse and establish the most effective and efficient interpretation of functional business needs to the technical team. A key part of the responsibilities is writing detailed specifications to bridge the gap between the business and technical teams. Exposure to prior Greenfield development projects using .net and agile methodologies will be well regarded, as will an in-depth understanding of treasury and financial products along with market risk.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

- 5+ Years Business Analyst - ideally from a banking background.
- EXPERT LEVEL understanding of Treasury products.
- Excellent soft skills and communication ability - be able to speak to the business.
- Experience in Vendor and Stakeholder Management
