Senior AWS Devops Engineer/Coach - Long Term Greenfield Project (Amste

Senior AWS DevOps Engineer/Coach required for a multi-billion euro business who are looking to rollout AWS to a major Business Unit currently running on on-premise Private Cloud.

This hire will be required to work with multiple Scrum teams as a hands-on AWS SME and Coach in order to assist with the transitioning large Digital Customer-facing applications to AWS. You will also be responsible for refreshing the AWS infrastructure on a regular basis, advising on new AWS services appropriate and advising Developers on proper and optimal use of AWS services. On a day-to-day basis you will also have DevOps responsibilities such as automation, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines and general Ops responsibilities.

Requirements

- High energy to share knowledge and coach and direct team members.
- Team player with excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a nice-to-have).
- Sound knowledge of network concepts and good Linux and/or Windows skills.
- Expertise in AWS EC2, RDS, S3, EBS, ELB and CloudWatch, backed up by at least one AWS Certification.
- Exposure to CloudFormation, ACM and/or KMS.
- DevOps toolset to include the likes of Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Vagrant, Git and/or Jenkins.
