Senior Avaloq Developer

For one of our client, a global bank, we are currently looking for a Senior Avaloq Developer who is very experienced parameterisation specialist to strengthen our clients team in Application Management Lending & Risk Solutions.

MAIN DUTIES:

- Analysing business requirement, building requirement specifications and design options
- Business & Technical end user consulting.
- Managing own deliverables through the software development life cycles.
- Enable close collaboration with Developers, Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts and 3rd party suppliers
- 3rd Level Support with incidents, on-call support
- Interface and 3rd party application maintenance
- Ensuring that change is Embedded in the wider team

SKILLS:

- Strong programming, parameterisation skills and technical know-how of Avaloq
- Technical know-how and development skills in at least one programming language (eg PL/SQL, Oracle Database)
- Stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and structured mind-set
- Self-starter
- Innovative
- University degree( or equivalent) in computer science or engineering
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong English, German beneficial

REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years hands-on with Avaloq, especially Transactional metatypes
- 5+ years with Avaloq Development and Delivery
- Investments and/or Banking (Education also preferable)
- Software development and project management life cycles (Agile preferable)
- Working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers
