Securities Lending, FX, Global Custody) Business Systems Analyst

Caspian One require a Business Systems Analyst for an Investment Bank on contract. The candidate must have a background in/experience with SECURITIES LENDING, FOREIGN EXCHANGE (FX) AND GLOBAL CUSTODY. YOU WILL NEED PROVEN FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE (IDEALLY INVESTMENT BANKING EXPERIENCE ONLY) SWIFT MESSAGING IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

The Role:

To provide analytical and technical support on Global Custody, Fund Accounting and Investment Operations project based on client and internal business requests.

Responsibilities:

Perform System Analysis on business requirements and record them so the documents can be transformed into a technical specification and test plan. As a key resource for analysis, you will also be involved with planning and executing in the change life cycle, providing support to Client Operations, Client Solutions and IT Service Delivery teams. Therefore you will be required to make sure documentation is completed and ready to go live, assist users with new enhancements, provide business system knowledge to resolve issues, ensure written requirements adhere to all regulatory and legal requirements. You will liaise with the business and different vendors to obtain information, whilst working with internal units (Business, Compliance etc) to provide solutions to meet their needs. Lastly, you will support the Client Delivery Manager and report on time-scales and budgets. The client solutions will all relate to Custody products and FX.

Essential Requirements:

Clearly documented experience/understanding of Securities Lending products

Clearly documented experience/understanding of FX

Clearly documented experience/understanding of Global Custody

Proven financial experience (Ideally Investment Banking experience only)

Previous experience with Business Systems Analyst responsibilities.

Regulatory knowledge

Financial instrument knowledge

Swift Messaging
