SCALA DEVELOPER -needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Scala Development experience
- Back End service developer proficient in architecting, implementing, and testing RESTful web services.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Developing a searchable catalog of dynamic research artifacts that will be used by multiple laboratories and groups in our research pipeline.
- We have existing services, but future services are green field, hence you will have influence in their design and implementation
- Independently implement parts of these designs, providing both solutions and test cases to identify regressions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Our ideal candidate is experienced in developing and testing using Scala and the Spray framework.
- Exceptionally strong Java or Groovy/Grails developers may also be considered, but they must have an interest in Scala and functional languages.
