Scala Developer - Investment Bank - £700 a day

My client is looking for client side Web developer with a wide range of client, server and web experience to work on new strategic global platforms that will fundamentally underpin the future technology stack across the firm. MAIN DUTIES: * Design, develop and implement the Web server tier applications. * Interact with other developers and end users to design and implement new features throughout the framework * Focus on writing documented, tested and easily-maintainable code which can scale across the organisation. * Consult with application development teams on best-practice usage of the toolkit. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: * Knowledge and experience of core Java and/or Scala server side web development. * Current commercial experience of building Internet facing Web applications. * Experience of Typesafe Akka stack advantageous. * Experience of client side HTML5/Javascript stack advantageous. * Have in-depth understanding of object-oriented principles and design concepts as well as the ability to apply them in solving real problems. * Core Java , WebServer Technologies Apache and Vert.X Please respond immediately if you feel you are suitable.
