SAS & SQL Programmer

SASmanaging and prioritizing multiple projects; and researching information located in the data systems supporting electronic medical records to help with data discovery for project scoping. You will be responsible for scoping out new projects; managing work and maintaining open lines of communication with business clients; and consulting with other departments and regions as appropriate on specific projects. 

Requirements include the following: 
Experience with managerial and performance reporting and analysis 
SAS and SQL programming and EXCEL skills required 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
The ability to scope a project and determine requirements with clients 
The ability to work with, and across, multiple complex project teams 
Problem solving skills and results orientation 
Customer service orientation 
Exposure to healthcare operations preferred 

Scope of the project: Variety of projects support regional performance improvement initiatives. 

Top 3 preferred skills: Intermediate to advanced SAS programming skills, excellent communications skills, analytic and critical thinking 

Top 5 daily responsibilities: Data investigation, programming, QA results, analysing results, communicating results, 

Stage of the project: Projects may be at any stage from development to production 

Desired skills: SAS, Excel, Access, Lotus Notes, Sharepoint

Educational Requirement: Masters preferred. Bachelors required plus additional experience. 

Minimum number of years of experience required - Minimum 3 years SAS Programming;
