SAP BI/BW Consultant
Edelway AG is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. Our global multinational end-client based in the Zürich area is currently looking for a Senior SAP BI Consultant to join them on a long term basis.
Start Date: ASAP
Working language: English
1st assignment until the end of 2013. Extensions for the right profile.
THE ROLE
*Develop, implement and support business systems solutions in support of business requirements for our client and its subsidiaries
*Work with BI Team and Users to facilitate requirements gathering, blueprinting, development, testing and documentation.
*Translate business requirements into robust systems solutions.
*Level 3 design for all BI/BW related solutions (datasources, infosources, ODS, master data, infocubes, infopackages, queries, web templates, etc) including ETL design for related data flows
*Level 3 design of complex BI/BW solutions and recommend best practices for maximum BW performance.
*Effectively influences & delivers on time to achieve project milestones.
*Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, determine root cause analysis.
*Proactively gather data, research and analyze specific business problems with power users.
YOUR PROFILE
*SAP BW 3.x and SAP BI 7.x tools
*Large scale BI/BW implementation
*7+ years of experience with the two above
*Proven ability in project scoping, planning and prioritization skills.
*Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
*Fluent English. French or German is always welcomed.
