Risk Analystics - Secured Financial Control Modelling

My client, a large world renowned bank is looking to hire a candidate to support the technical governance process. The successful candidate will join a sub-team of the wider Financial Control and Modelling team.

Candidate Responsibilities:

- Most of the role will focus on the production of model documentation and supporting presentations for submission to internal and external approval committees, including the PRA.
- Participation with stakeholders across the business in order to understand their issues, objectives and priorities; suggest and discuss potential solutions.
- Help to communicate the results of the models developed or other analytics to business owners; help to drive business actions based on the results.

Candidate requirements:

- Report writing experience and the ability to produce reports and interrogate systems to produce analysis and resolve discrepancies/queries with excellent Word and PowerPoint Skills
- An understanding of model build processes including: a good knowledge of data analysis, theory and multivariate statistical techniques, preferably with knowledge of SAS.
- Full understanding of Credit Risk Processes and Strategies.
