Risk Analyst - Risk/Compliance/Business Management

RISK ANALYST - RISK/COMPLIANCE/BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - 6 MONTHS - £250-£300 P/D

Our client is currently looking for a Risk Analyst to assist the Risk and Compliance Department with the implementation of processes, the management of policies, the undertaking of risk and compliance assessments and reporting back to senior management.

Your responsibilities will involve:
- Defining and implementation of processes, the management of policies and the undertaking of risk and compliance assessments.
- Provide internal risk & compliance consultancy and assurance
- Undertake routine and theme-based monitoring and reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both senior Business and Controls management
- Work with Risk & Compliance team to monitor appropriate policies and procedures

Role requirements:
- Business Management professional with well-developed skills in project and risk management, business change, process and workflow development
- The ability to support opportunities across existing and new business initiatives
- To act as a subject matter expert, advising and supporting stakeholders.

Core experience & Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong, proactive and engaging people skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and drive own work agenda as well as balancing conflicting priorities when required
- Ideally a graduate with a degree in a relevant analytical/business/risk management discipline
- Compliance/operational risk/audit experience in the financial services sector (Banking, Insurance, - Investment Management etc) would be an advantage
- Relevant professional qualification preferred.
- Recently graduated from either a Business School or has completed a Business Management degree with some exposure to the working environment.
