Risk Analyst - London - 6 Month Contract - £250- £350

A highly innovative Market Infrastructure organisation, based in London, is searching for a Risk Analyst to join their small team for a 6 Month Contract. The role is offering in the region of £250- 350 per day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Risk Analyst looking for variety and challenge in their role. On a day-to-day basis you'll be undergoing an assortment of tasks, each of which will expand your experience and skill set.

The successful candidate will be involved in Risk Reporting, with the responsibility of ensuring accurate and timely reports. This will help you flag areas of concern and escalate issues to senior stakeholders. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have clear communication skills and the ability to understand and interpret Risk Data.

You will also have the opportunity to work alongside Risk Methodologies, and demonstrate your skills and understanding of Backtesting and Stress Testing of systems. We are searching for a candidate with knowledge and experience of these areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Risk reporting, control and monitoring, in order to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Working with Risk Methodologies, and testing the system in place.
- Internal stakeholder liaison to communicate risks

REQUIREMENTS

- Analytical/Numerate Degree or equivalent.
- Financial Services Experience from a Risk role, preferably focused on Liquidity and Collateral Risk.
- Ability to interpret Risk Data, and communicate this with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Backtesting and Stress Testing.
- Microsoft Word experience is essential, particularly Excel.
