Risk Analyst - Knowledge across multiple asset classes - Trade Behavior

Our client, a Tier One Banking Group is currently recruiting for an Analyst with a Risk background, ideally market risk. For this role it is essential to have knowledge of investment products across multiple asset classes and ideally an understating of the trade booking practices.

*Ensure that the Trade Capture control standards are adhered to from Front to Back
*Assist in the monitoring of suspicious trading activity using all data and reports from a support function
*Sponsor and drive remedial actions
*Responsibility for recommending disciplinary actions on poor trade capture and trade behaviour
*Specify a standard set of risks and controls on trade capture and inappropriate trading risk
*Assist the Head of the function in their capacity as primary liaison with the FSA for trade capture controls and inappropriate trading incidents.

Essential skills for the role:
*Outstanding analytical and investigative skills including intelligence analytics
*Knowledge across multiple asset classes
*Knowledge of trades booking practices
*Datamodelling is desirable
*Risk analysis, ideally market risk
*Ability to engage and communicatate with senior level stakeholders
*Ability to establish credibility with senior managers
*Ability to identify and drive trade capture and inappropriate trading-specific enhancements to the systems and business processes
