Research Associate Job

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Newark, DE

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Treat seeds
- Test treated seeds for handling attributes applying standardized protocols.
- Package treated seeds for field trial distribution
- Execute seed treatment experiments collaboratively with Principal Investigator to generate process data and supply laboratory samples to advance research programs:
- development seed treatment candidates
- existing seed treatment formulations process technologies
- new seed treatment formulations process technologies
- Record, summarize and report data, both written and orally.
- Apply formal protocols in order to document and transfer technology to research and commercial seed treatment applications teams.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Degree in Physical, Organic, or Biochemistry, Engineering Technology or in a core formulation/coating-related technologies
- Experience handling and operating formulation processes of various types (eg, pan or fluid bed granulation, seed coatings, packaging).
- Experience effectively communicating data, report writing and supporting multiple projects.
- Experience in thoroughly documenting and organizing all relevant results and related information.
- Experience in managing relationships in a project team environment and effectively communicating technical and non-technical information.
- Experience in corporate Safety, Health, and Environmental principles, practices, and resources.
