RESEARCH ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in JOHNSTON, IA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Must have plant tissue culture and transformation (ideally maize) experience.
- Must have an experience with experimental design, data collection, and attention to details.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- To assist technical personnel in general laboratory operations and routine laboratory or information, handling tasks in support of scientific research.
- Will assist in the performance of maize transformation experiments in the production transformation laboratory to meet individual and team goals of transgenic event production.
- Will be involved with embryo isolation, tissue culture sub-culturing, data tracking and providing timely updates to the lab Manager.
