MY DUTIES:

- Create and support the creation of the requirements and specifications for molecular diagnostic laboratory devices on different levels and ensure consistency across different levels
- Support risk management regarding criticality and rating of requirements
- Decompose higher level requirements into lower level requirements of specifications with an appropriate level of detail
- Lead requirements analysis, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensive, traceable, feasible, unambiguous and verifiable and conformity to standards
- Input for improvement areas of the requirements management process
- Enter, manipulate and report requirements via requirements management tool
- Define requirement attributes and facilitate their use throughout the project
- Organize and facilitate peer reviews
- Ensure consistency of structure in the tool

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor or Master degree as a mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, software engineer or in a biochemical discipline 
- Experience in requirement or sytem engineering or related areas 
- Solid working knowledge in requirement specification and system engineering, preferably master Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) 
- Experience with lifecycle-tools / requirements engineering tool, preferably HP ALM
- Experience in the laboratory environment 
- Business fluency in English and German, spoken and written
- Self-motivation with a great ability to find solutions to complex problems
- Interpersonal skills in building trustful relationships with peers in a multi-cultural
- Good analytical thinking, a structured working manner, ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency

PROJECT INFORMATION:

- The Systems Engineering group - consisting of approx. 25 employees - is focused on the technical support and leadership of product definition predominantly within the development of technically complex systems
- The department is based within the Molecular Diagnostics division of the Molecular Systems business
- The roles within the group all have a strong technical/scientific focus, such as Business Domain Analysts, Requirements Engineers, Product Definition Leaders and Lead Systems Engineers
