Request-to-Pay T&E Accountant

For our Client in FRIBOURG, we are looking for REQUEST-TO-PAY T&E ACCOUNTANT, for 9 MONTHS contract.

Duration: 01/04/2018 - 31/12/2018

Location: Fribourg, Switzerland

Workload: 100%

Job purpose:

Execute T&E handling process (compliance check, posting, accruals, BSR, payment) activities for assigned markets in the EU FSC scope. Provide timely and accurate output as requested by the market's accounting regulations. Train other team members and be co-responsible of the output quality and accuracy level.

Major responsibilities:

Handle T&E related process

- Compliance check
- User training
- Monthly newsletter preparation/distribution
- KPI reporting (compliance rate)
- Propose and post T&E related month-end accruals
- Handling of respective generic mailboxes
- Perform T&E related NFCM control (SOX Compliance)
- Execute month-end reconciliations
- Train other team members and on-board new joiners
- Support other R2P streams in case needed
- Support offshoring transition to NGSC Prague

Candidate's profile:

EDUCATION:

Degree in finance and/or accounting or relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE (MUST-HAVE):

- 2 to 3 years in account payable department (preferably shared services).
- Excellent accounting knowledge in IFRS and local standards to process allocated tasks in an efficient and timely manner and medium reporting knowledge.

LANGUAGES:

Command of English (Advanced level) and preferably one other European (FSC) language

OTHER COMPETENCIES:

- Team player mind set, excellent communication skills.
- Able to organize and plan activities/tasks in an appropriate manner to anticipate closing process/tasks.
- Able to manage priorities and address needs of various stakeholders in a customer oriented approach.
- Master IT tools to allow appropriate accounting treatment.
