Projektbeschreibung

The Client offers a high quality free recruitment service to businesses to help them recruit locally. Out-of-work candidates are screened to check fit with business requirements, trained to help them impress at interview and submitted for the job. The employer and candidate continue to receive support for at least six months after the start date. The service is delivered by Workplace Coordinators (WPCs) who act as brokers between employers and candidates.

The post holder will manage delivery of the project to maximise numbers of residents starting and sustaining work and ensure a high quality service is delivered.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CURRENT ROLE

The post-holder will be expected to:

- Oversee delivery of the project including allocating resources as required to meet demand and achieve targets, effectively utilising project budget, and working with partners.
- Provide effective leadership, direction and support to the team to support their continual professional improvement and ensure candidate/employer needs are met.
- Hold responsibility for the achievement of targets, reporting against these (formally/informally), evidencing achievement, and accurate record keeping in line with funder's requirements and to enable effective delivery across the project.
- Lead on the development of a team approach - supporting and enabling the team to work effectively together, and ensuring consistency of approach and quality across the project.
- Proactively suggest and implement continual improvements to the project including implementing new ways of working to ensure quality remains high, targets are met and new opportunities are taken advantage of.
- Further develop and consolidate the Client brand, gaining buy-in from stakeholders, project partners and employers. This includes developing strong case-studies of past successes.
- Lead on the development and implementation of a candidate engagement and training strategy, including developing strong links with referral partners.
- Develop and lead on the implementation of an employer engagement strategy.
- Initiate and develop strong links with businesses and secure their support to recruit via the project, help residents develop their skills/experience/knowledge, offer opportunities to candidates with additional support needs, or provide other resources to help the running of the project (eg clothing/space/refreshments).
- Quality-assure delivery, including developing effective feedback mechanisms.
- Support workless individuals into brokered jobs and sustain them once they start employment (annual target to be agreed).
- Commission or arrange additional customised training as required to ensure candidate and employer needs are met.
- Take responsibility for an additional funding/projects added to Client
