RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - RESOURCING SPECIALIST

Our client, a large finance organisation, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Recruitment consultant to work an initial 2-month contract (with possible extension) working on-site at a large finance organisation.

Tasks will include:

- Influence managers with best practice recruitment methods, ensuring completion of required documents and correct recruitment authorisation has been followed and is in place
- Ensure recruitment approvals are recorded accurately on the recruitment authorisation tracker and this is kept constantly up to date
- Manage high volume recruitment across varied business lines
- Writing job adverts for attracting talent and working with external recruitment websites to increase direct hiring
- Promote and encourage the internal and group mobility with the objective to increase significantly the mobility rate and decrease external recruitment. Liaise with HR contracts in various locations and business to encourage mobility
- Review applications, CV's, liaise with hiring managers and the HR Admin team to arrange interviews, conduct HR interviews and coordinate feedback to providing support or hiring decisions
- Use the applicant tracking systems Taleo and E-Jobs efficiently to maintain complete records
- Ensure eligibility of all new starters to work in the UK and/or ensuring all visa application are progressed through correct channels and monitored appropriately
- Ensure the timely completion of on boarding processes for all new starters, ensure employee files are complete, scanning any required files, review employment contracts and ensure regular contact with the candidate and HR Admin

Required Skills:

- Recruitment experience gained in an agency or in an in-house environment, across multiple disciplines, including temporary and permanent recruitment
- Proven track record in direct recruitment and sourcing methodologies
- Ability to manage a complex and demanding portfolio
- Detailed knowledge of current employment legislation and employment law
- Internal consulting skills and relationship management ability
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated competency in HR support
- Experience of working within the financial services industry
- Knowledge of Taleo, PeopleSoft or similar recruiting software
