Quality Manager - Gloucester - £45-50K

Our client, a dynamic aerospace supply company enjoying excellent growth require an experienced Quality Manager to join their team in their Gloucester Site. Reporting to the Technical Director, the Quality Manager will be responsible for a small team of Quality Auditors and possess the desire and motivation to continually drive continuous improvement along with maintaining the highest standards. The postholder will have the ability to lead and develop a team through a proactive approach and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: * Ensuring Quality system procedures are managed, maintained and developed in order to continually improve and ensure best practice * Integral in customer and legislative audits, ensuring compliance against agreed standards. * Organise product tests as a key member of the site team * Quickly and effectively provided technical support on customer complaints & supplier questionnaires It is likely that candidates will be degree qualified in Engineering / Related subject. Applicants must have relevant experience in the Aerospace Industry. A good basic understanding of legislation is also required, experience of AS9100 or ISO & qualifications in Internal Auditing. Experience of Added Value products and dealing with major Tier 1 suppliers would also be beneficial, as the role requires a significant interaction with supply partners.
