Project Manager - Basel III

Our client, a tier 1 Investment Bank is undertaking a global regulatory programme in line with Basel III.

There is a requirement for a Project Manager with direct Basel III implementation experience.

Duties will include:

- Define project tasks and resource requirements and developed full scale project plans
- Planning and running the program-wide application build, test, and deploy activities
- Produce Architectural Dataflow Designs for various Basel III rules including LVR, Stressed EPE/PE, Clearing Counterparty (CCP), Banking Financial and Insurance (BFI), Large Exposures (LER)
- Provide direction and support project team to ensure key project milestones are reached

Key skills required:

- In depth understanding and experienced in implementing Basel III
- Proven track record of successful delivery as project manager
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Project Management certification

In-depth Data warehouse experience

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements - particularly Basel III
- Investment Banking background with front to back knowledge of: Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives, FX
- Experience working as Business Analyst on large scale financial transformation programmes
- Strong understanding of reference data, counterparty data and instrument data.
- Excellent Data Modeling skills and the ability to manipulate multiple complex data streams.
