Project Manager - Banking - Rectifications - Yorkshire

PROJECT MANAGER - BANKING - RECTIFICATIONS - YORKSHIRE

We have a requirement for a Project Manager with customer rectifications experience to join a retail bank based in West Yorkshire.

DUTIES:

- Manages and controls the delivery of a small project or workstream components within a large project, taking responsibility for achieving a defined output in support of a business goal. Ensures delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives, and ensures that the benefits in the business case can be realised.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Development and tracking of delivery plans for projects/workstreams. Defines and implements a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project life cycle, obtains acceptance and buy
- Works with the business area to ensure an effective approach to business implementation of initiatives, including any schedule of events, contingency planning, issue resolution and walkthroughs with senior stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Identifies key project stakeholders and develops an appropriate stakeholder communication plan.
- Engages with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence direction of projects to meet the project milestones.
- Providing project/workstream progress as part of regular working groups, to ensure stakeholders remain up to date with progress, risks and issues at all times.
- Co-ordination of workstream progress meetings, including stakeholder updates, stakeholder meetings and completing actions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Clear and articulate communicator with effective influencing skills
- Experience of dealing with and leading wide stakeholder sets
- Experience of working within a large retail bank (or similar corporate) can ref management of wider organisational risks etc
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Self starter - ability to work alone or part of a team

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Banking products background & knowledge
- Rectification experience and experience of dealing with complex cohorts of customer data

RATE: £259 per day

DURATION: 6 months +

LOCATION: West Yorkshire

START: Early July 2015
