Project Manager AWS/Big Data (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Contribute to Big Data projects as representative and single point of contact from the Global Data Platform (GDP)
- Support our customer projects in using our platform, according to best practices
- Understand the customer needs, and translate them into meaningful, usable stories for the agile development teams
- Be the “gatekeeper” for requests coming from the project, and push back unnecessary requests
- Understand the timeline and the deliverables of the projects, identify dependencies towards GDP and ensure together with the products owners the delivery
- Act as “voice of the project” internally in the GDP organization towards the development teams and towards the Product Owners
- Contribute to Big Data projects as representative and single point of contact from the Global Data Platform (GDP)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience as delivery manager / technical project manager in a Big Data environment
- Relevant experience in a Big Data environment: Distributed computation frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, DASK, EMR…); Data Science notebooks (Jupyter, RStudio, Zeppelin…);Distributed databases (Cassandra, Neo4j, MongoDB…); Event Base system (Kafka, Kinesis…)
- Project experience with an AWS project
- Experience with containerized solutions and Kubernetes
- Requirements engineering (preferable in infrastructure / big data projects)
- Experience with common agile working tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Git)
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- Experience as delivery manager / technical project manager in a Big Data environment
