Project Manager - CONTRACT
KEY: ENGINEERING/ELECTRONICS/R&D/RF/SOFTWARE/SPACE/AEROSPACE
Duration: 3 months +
Location: Belgium
Rates: 494.00/535.00 Euros per day
Start date: Immediate
A client of mine based in Belgium have recently won a project and now have the need to bring in an experience Project Manager to drive a project using a temporary team made up of people from different disciplines to achieve their targets. Previous experience with on-board activities and/or electronic ground support equipment projects.
Experience:
* A background in a Electronics Engineering environment and/or R&D Engineering environment (Any RF would be desirable).
* Experience in the Space industry (My client might consider Aerospace).
* Any experience in the Software Engineering environment would be desirable but not essential.
Areas of responsibilities:
* Project definition
* Management and organization of the project start-up: preparation and generation of the project plans, planning, communication, kick-off meetings
* Information gathering & distribution
* Definition of the quality norms and control of these norms
* Negotiate and assemble resources
* Budgeting
* Project planning (overall)
* Definition of the possible impact of proposed implementations and/or project changes
* Organization of and participation in reviews and project meetings
* Decision making in consultation with the team
* Progress tracking: evaluation of the 'earned value'
* Motivate
* Report/escalation process
* Management of project risks
* External representation of the project
* Coordination and daily management of his project team's tasks: detail planning, follow-up, implementation, documentation
