Project Engineer Piping System

POSITION: PROJECT ENGINEER PIPING SYSTEM

DURATION: 3-6 months

LOCATION: Ijmuiden Netherlands

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Minimum of 8 years working experience in piping systems design
- Experience with engineering and design of piping systems in petrochemical industry or offshore
- Practical application knowledge of EN15001, EN13480, RToD
- Application of large diameter (>DN1500) piping systems
- Knowledge of pressure vessel design and compliance with European Pressure Directive
- Very good analytical skills
- Very good organizational skills, detail- oriented with excellent time-management skills.
- Very good English verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred with Dutch knowledge

Tasks:

- Assessing or defining user requirements
- Translating user requirements into Requests for Proposal
- Evaluating proposals
- Reviewing designs and systems
- Reviewing the correct application of the Tata standards and guidelines
- Technical assistance during construction and commissioning
- Managing engineering subcontractors during basic and detailed design phases
- Own scope and budget within large projects
- Scope, budget, planning and quality for small projects
