Program Manager (Electrical)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

* Responsible either for Component Program Management or EMS
* Program Management
* Act as Project Manager until new project teams are in place and are stabilised.
* Be aware of all supplier related activities (advanced, in development, in production),
structures and procedures and makes sure the appropriate measures
* Actively manage to put the adequate resources in place.
* Manage and grow the technical network
* Lead and coordinates EMS
* System programs to completion to assure the goals and objectives are met.
* Lead multi-functional System Development Team (Engineering, Quality, Purchasing,
Sales or other functional team members as required)
* Be the main customer contact.
Provides systems objectives and issues from the customer, inter-discipline and inter-divisional.
* Responsible for system planning, timing and controlling (milestones, reviews, sample phases)
* Prepare and conduct System Gate Reviews and System Design Reviews
* Participation in important component/product meetings (Component Design Reviews, Gate Reviews, FMEA' s)
* Assure appropriate resource planning and system / component development cost control
* Lead and control the change management in conjunction with Sales
* Regular participation in management reviews.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Previous experience as a Development, Mechanical or Manufacturing engineer.
* 5 years experiment in manufacturing or development fields.
* Experience In customer interfacing

SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Ability to manage and support people.
* Knowledge of development areas.
* PC Literate: MS Office
* Oral and written communication skills (level 4)
* Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivates and elicits output (level 4)
* Analytical ability (level 4)
* Customer-focus, leadership spirit, motivation skills (level 3)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

University degree in technical (mechanical or electrical) engineering
