Projektbeschreibung

SUMMARY

- The Project Manager manages the scope, cost, and time of packaging and labeling projects as well as new formula development projects through the planning, implementation, and close-out phases of the project life cycle.
- The PM is responsible to provide the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to manage project activities through the application and integration of the Project Management process of planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and closing.
- Contributes to the production of high quality products by ensuring that all work is done in a manner that is compliant with cGMPs, SOPs, government regulations, and corporate policies and practices.
- DUTIES
- Cross-Functional Teams - Coordinate new formula, packaging and promotion project management activities between Sales & Customer Support, Operations Planning, Manufacturing, Quality Operations, R&D, Service Groups, Technology, etc., to ensure the timely product launches of domestic and global products to meet the Division and stakeholder objectives.
- Project Management - Insures all projects have timelines, risk analyses, and cost/saving analyses. Insures project teams have clear goals, objectives and milestones consistent with the Division objectives and financial goals. Drives continuous improvement of the project management process.
- Communications - Insures effective collaboration and communication takes place in the category and cross-functional organization. Communicates critical issues and resolution plans to senior management. Publishes meeting agendas, minutes and metrics.
- Decision Making - Develops solutions to complex issues that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, innovation. Requires understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards that govern the consumer package goods business. Facilitates team level decision making and escalates key decisions to oversight committees.
- Analysis - Performs feasibility analysis for cost savings initiatives, labeling, packaging, and promotional projects. Coordinates the run-out and disposition of project related materials and packaging components.
- Management Reporting - Provides project updates and risk analyses and represents team at management oversight committees. Provides critical issue updates to Regional Portfolio Leader.
- Knowledge Base - Maintains an understanding of contemporary project management techniques and regulatory policy that affect over the counter and dietary supplement product development.
- Proactivity - identifies any potential or actual delays and prepares appropriate prevention and mitigation plans

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Scientific, Engineering or Business discipline.
- MBA, or Masters in Sciences or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum five years of Project Management experience
- Overall eight to fifteen years of relevant work experience in multiple areas of expertise within Manufacturing or Supply Chains, such as Production Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing or related fields, preferably in the Pharmaceutical or Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
- Experience interrelating and communicating effectively with management and peers
- Ability to motivate and inspire other operating groups to achieve departmental objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communicating and problem solving
- Pharma, OTC or Consumer Packaged Goods experience strongly desired
- Relationship builder, ability to hold people accountable, organized, leadership
