Program Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for implementation on UMTS and LTE projects in the Orange/LA County area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manages high value long term strategic projects that involve new and/or enhancing technology, are highly complex, and require tight coordination and integration with multiple organizations and suppliers.
- Provides overall direction and technical or analytical guidance to project and program teams that typically span multiple organizations and may also include outside suppliers/vendors.
- Leads large cross-functional teams to manage programs within allotted timeline and budget.
- Works with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion program/project(s) across the entire organization.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Leads program meetings and is responsible for program tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews program/project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Manages project completions (LTE, UMTS, NSB, and all other modifications) from issuance of work order to turn up including finance and timeline forecasts. {s}

SKILLS

Must have at least 5 years of experience working in the wireless cell site development/deployment/modification arena, including experience managing vendors in all aspects of site deployment, and planning and working with various jurisdictions in the greater Los Angeles Area. Strong organizational and communication skills required. Must be able to work independently, be able to work on scheduling and reporting, have an understanding of capital budget management, have familiarity with FAA/FCC and EH&S compliance requirements related to antenna cell sites, have strong data management skills, and be able to read and understand architectural drawings. Must have strong computer skills and a mastery of MS Excel. Experience in planning and entitlement needed. Must have Project Management experience. Budget Management experience required. Clear Communication skills a must. Expertise in efficient reporting required.
