PROFESSIONAL PROJECT MANAGER - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE - SAP BI IP - PHARMACEUTICAL - SWITZERLAND
NextLink is currently looking for a Professional Project Manager to work for our global, well-known, pharmaceutical client in Switzerland.
As Project Manager, the candidate will support the Program Management which is the central planning, reporting and admin function for the ICON 3 program. S/he will showcase her/his ability to manage, organize and communicate project related results to the Program Leader and Senior Management.
TASKS:
Manage and support as PM the technical team for reporting, with the goal of achieving the best team work and collaboration to achieve the stream and program goals.
Manage the technical implementation of GCP Engine Enhancements with EXA team (external supplier), to make sure requirements are complete and understood, plan is agreed and implementation is delivered as planned. Managing also the interaction within internal IT teams, business and EXA team when needed.
Manage vendor relationship with EXA in regards to project.
Manage the plan and activities in alignment with the other Program Streams, main focus is Reconciliation stream needs which are priority 1 for the program.
Manage the business stakeholders, mainly business owners of each delivery, to ensure their collaboration in the project in terms of requirements definition, approval and validation.
Maintain a good collaboration and communication with the business PM and Business program manager to control scope, good communication and prioritization in the scope deliveries.
Coordinate, communicate and align with Solution owners of GCP, GRP and (Financial Excellence), business and IT, to align the plan and activities executed in the project, get their feedback and approval, and making sure project activities and deliveries are not impacting the stability and finance events of the productive solutions.
Preparation of status updates to the program management
Update and manage the risks impacting the project, and managing the implementation of contingency plans.
Alignment with initiatives hitting the project, making sure that coming impacts to the scope, plan or resources is understood, analysis is done with the team and program management is engage and updated.
Manage the technical team and their communication with the Business Analysts, making sure that the requirements are understood and reviewed. Also create good team collaboration within BA, technical team and business owners.
Manage the transition of new deliveries to ADMD operational team, making sure they are aware of the increase of capacity needed in advance and resources are in place.
Manage the scope change process and making sure it is understood and is followed by the business owners, business analyst and stream team.
Make sure all PMM deliveries are created, reviewed and approved.
Seek and support innovation in the project deliveries in alignment with Solution owners and IT Finance Architect
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 6 years of project management experience preferably in a global, matrixed, diverse environment
8 years of experience with Business Intelligence/DWH
5 years of experience with SAP-BI-IP
Broad experience in the conception and implementation of BW solution for Finance functions in big companies using SAP BW/IP
Fluent in English
Strong Project Management skills
Sound knowledge of standard project tools and methods
Demonstrated experience in managing complex issues on a global level. Ability to operate and work with people on a virtual basis (remote teams) as well as in a multi-cultural project environment
Experience in leading and supporting technical project teams remotely while leasing with program manager
Customer oriented person
Capability to think strategically
Excellent understanding of complex landscapes and relationships (business, systems, policies, etc.)
Excellent ability to communicate to others not only what is being done and how, but also why
University Degree (preferably Informatics, Science or equivalent) or MBA
Nice to Have:
+++ Technical Experience in XCelsius, Analysis Office, Design Studio would be an asset, as well as in Tableau.
++ Experience in Pharma industry
++ PMP certificate
+ Finance and product costing knowledge
