PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT position with Yoh's client located in ORLANDO, FL

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience running chemical processing equipment
- Ability to work: 12 hour shift. (either 7AM to 7 PM or 7PM to 7AM)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Operates 100TPD ASU with a 340 TPD liquefier.
- Must understand Medical oxygen and nitrogen production
- Fully supports operations of water treatment equipment and waste effluent treatment
- Accurately completes production records; maintains, conforms to corporate Health, Safety and Environmental policies/procedures and relevant documentation at the facility
- Demonstrates identified skill sets in daily operational duties in monitoring operating performance and reporting to management timely
- Participates in shut downs, startups, and commissions and process improvement
- Identifies potential needs; enters them into CMMS
- Keeps accurate records; diligent in documentation, record retention policies/procedures-Maintains records in accordance with FDA product standards.-Determines if immediate maintenance action is required; documents it; reports to appropriate personnel
- Generates initial documentation for on-site contractor, vendor, guest, or visitor site-specific training needs
- Escorts on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors throughout facility as needed; ensures their compliance with national safety policies/procedures
- Assists in on-site instrument calibration, laboratory testing of sample, and inventory of reagents.
- Assists delivery of materials on-site, such as chemicals for water treatment, effluent treatment and general warehouse equipment
- Rotating 12 hours shifts

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma
- Associate's degree desirable or technical training (or equivalent experience) preferred
- 2+ years of related industrial operations experience
- Overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, company safety policies/procedures
- Performs all work in compliance with standard operating/maintenance procedures, utilizing current Life Safety skills, Safe Start and safety requirements including safe work permits, energy control isolation, IDLs, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc
- Acquiring knowledge/ability in all plant operations including processes/equipment
- Exhibits mechanical ability
- Ability to learn/follow national/local standard operating procedures; follow through on instructions; work with minimal supervision; read/interpret blueprints, flow charts, process piping, simple schematics, P ability to use required software computer applications -Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, FRC clothing
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. Ability to climb ladders and stairwells.
