Product Information Architecture Consultant

I am currently looking for a Product Information Architecture Consultant for our Product Configuration Streamlining Optimized Project in Sweden

You will work in an innovative team as a consultant.

Your responsibilities include:

- Principles and processes for the collecting and handling of Configuration related metadata (contract/production/delivery/site and installed base configuration) to achieve end to end traceability.
- Specify and decide which metadata that should be regarded as generic and be placed in the PDM environment, and which data that is connected to product individuals or are service or site specific and by this should be added in the separate support system for the Installed Base.
- Specification of which types of business related Product Data that shall be collected from the Sales, Order and Installation processes and be stored in the Installed Base management system.
- Specification of which types of generic Product Data that shall be collected from the designers PDM system to be transferred to the separate system for the handling of the Installed Base.
- Specification of which types of individual Product Data from the supply systems for Traceability etc to be transferred to the separate system for the handling of the Installed Base.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

We expect the candidate to have more than 5-10 years experiences on thermal design of high volume industrial products with high reliability requirements and challenging thermal conditions (car industry, marine applications, server industry, telecom, etc ) and that this have given the candidate a thorough and deep understanding of various cooling principles (direct air, HEX, etc) and a wide experience of CFD programs like: Ice Pack, Flotherm. We also expect that a substantial part of this cooling experience has been devoted to liquid cooling applications and the key components of this principle. We also expect an expertise of conceptual design of equipment and comparison of various thermal solutions in both the cost and the functionality perspective. For this position we prefer experiences of the platform, concept & product portfolio' discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product life cycle. The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. We require Bachelor Degree, Masters in mechanical/or and electrical engineering or equivalent backgroundTheTo be successful in this role the candidate should have more than 10 years experiences in information management area, especially in supply chain and installed base area. Experience from product data management is desired but not essential.

The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
