Product Design Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinating all supplier related activities
- Creating technical specifications
- Conducting design FMEA's
- Developing component DVP&R's
- Presenting formal design reviews, procuring prove design hardware
- Coordinating validation testing and analysis activities
- Leading problem resolution
- Cost reduction activities, and releasing drawings and solid models.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Agricultural Engineering
- 5 years engineering work experience with component design and validation with on and off highway machines and vehicles, gas and diesel engines, or gas and diesel power systems.

POSSIBLE QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Agricultural Engineering
- 2 years engineering work experience with component design and validation with on and off highway machines and vehicles, gas and diesel engines, or gas and diesel power systems.
- With either combination of work experience or education, qualified candidates must have 1 year concurrent project management experience.

DESIRED:

- APQP experience new product development experience
- Diesel engine component development experience
- Cooling component experience
