Product Controller

Product Control, Investment Banking, P&L, Balance Sheet Validation, Month End, contract.

London based Investment Bank seeks a Product Controller. This role is responsible for the day to day and month end reporting and control of the Client Financing and TPS desks within the Front Office business areas, with additional responsibilities with regards to Fix The Bank and Change The Bank initiatives.

This role will also include responsibility for Month End processes within the Own Funds & Central Treasury business areas and review of Junior Product Controller monthly tasks.

Run The Bank:

- Production of the Daily P&L, including analysis and explanation
- Month end balance sheet validation ensuring completeness, accuracy & integrity of the ledger
- Daily/monthly independent price and input parameter verification
- Daily Risk reporting, including limit monitoring and VaR and back testing signoff
- Trading provision analysis
- Extensive liaison with support functions and Front Office

Fix The Bank/Change The Bank:

- Streamlining of daily/month end processes
- Working with the projects team on tactical and strategic projects for the department and bank
- Involvement in New Products relevant to desk
- Training junior members of the department/team

This is an immediate requirement and interviews will be conducted next week.
