Process Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Provide in-depth specialist knowledge, may coach colleagues and assist in the development of others
- Create quality related or specific reports and queries from MES in compliance with company internal and external regulatory requirements
- Create and revise regulations in the area of responsibility (SOPs), such as creating automation and MES related regulations and SOPs
- Master data adjustments in the automation systems according to the standard operating procedures applicable within the MES System Basel
- Perform, collaborate and support change management, qualification and/or validation activities according to company internal guidelines
- Conduct training of new employees for introduction to MES
- Representation of the department during inspections
- Support analytics projects in line with site and PT objectives, including preparation of reports and documentation on projects
- Promote collaboration with other Data Science teams within the company

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- University or college degree in a technical or scientific field (e.g., pharmacy, biology, chemistry, biotechnology, process engineering, engineering, automation, information technology, or even data science, computer science) with Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree
- Well-founded experience in a GMP regulated environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical company
- Well-founded professional experience with MES systems as well as in an automation environment
- Very good knowledge of quality systems and processes
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.)
- Experience in visualizations, statistics and machine learning
- Experience in design and improvements locally, globally and in a network
- Fluency in German or English
